Hawk-Treffen in Essen-Kettwich, 10-12 september 2004
As the Pegestorf meeting is a biannual affair, 2004 threatened to be a lean year for the Hawkers. Of course Mike & Co have been on the racetrack with their Hawks but the year would be incomplete without a Hawk meeting. A big thank you to Peter & family and the other enthousiasts that have made it happen this year. Every year I've almost made up my mind to trade in the Hawk for some Africa Twin or Super Tenereé but as ever I return from the meeting knowing that I'll probably keep the bike another year and perhaps add some of the trick stuff that others have done to the bike.
This report will have very little text, just pictures and when you point the cursor at the picture there may appear a comment. Once again it was good to see Dirk, Uwe, Jens, the Two Brothers Hofmann (unfortunatly no Tanja (AGAIN!)) and many other faces that I've seen before and a few new ones. The Hawks are still alive!!!
